Here at De Maitre De Noir Bouvier Kennel we believe in the preservation of the old style working Bouvier. Therefore we have imported what we believe to be some of the  best KNPV, IPO and Schutzhund bloodlines of the most current working Bouvier of today. Such as, Zenga Zigo v Elton Home, KNPV, PH1, Bill v.d. Barbier Hoeve, IPO3 Champion, Diego Kim v.d. Vlaamse Boef, KNPV, PH1 Met Lof, Obj Certificate the only Bouvier in 2008 to achieve KNPV Certificate, Gamble v Eltons Home, KNPV PH1 Met Lof and Duke van het Retrohof, IPO3, SPH1.

For those of you who may not be aware Zenga Zigo is the third highest scoring Bouvier in KNPV history and  his sire is the number one scoring Bouvier in KNPV history.  Zenga also competed in the Zuizuid-Holland KNPV Championship where only KNPV titled dogs could enter where all breeds including the high flying Malinois and he was crowned Champion for his outstanding performance.  Bill v.d. Barbier Hoeve who is a very tough Bouvier was the 2004 IPO 3 Dutch National Champion and placed # 2 in the World Bouvier Championship and has been a top competitor every since. Also at De Maitre de Noir we have the bloodlines of the past great working and top producing Bouviers like Tomba,  Arno, Blitz, Boy, Arno Charger Bunda, Basco Kiki, Bram, Harron, Shaba, Nora v Greuske and Cindy v Fokrohof just to name a few.
We believe that the Bouvier should be used in the capacity in which the breed was developed, as a loyal, trustworthy, family companion and guardian that has the ability and potential to perform military and Police K9 work.  Our aim is to keep the standards that have been established by great kennels such as Fokrohof, Eltons Home, Tremaudan, Vlaamse Boef, De La Velerie and others. We would like to thank Mr. Dan and Cynthia Stevenot, Anton Timmons, Fokke Krottje, Pappens Yvo, Danny Van Acker, Karin Caporal and Mariska de Haan for all their great help and information. Without them De Maitre De Noir could not exist.

We are dedicated to the true Working style Bouvier des Flandres.

We would also  thank Jim Engel, the author of the #1 best selling book of the Bouvier Des Flandres ” The Dog of Flandres Fields “. Mr.Engel allowed me to work some of the best Bouvier  in Marengo, IL in 1994 when I first began my years in dog training. I had the pleasure of working Gambit, Sch3 and many other good dogs at his Schutzhund club.

I am also the  owner of All American K9 Academy
( www.americank9.net ). Where we teach obedience training, schutzhund and other dog sports. I am a registered CGC evaluator for the AKC, certified dog trainer with Pro-Canine and Penn Foster. I am also a certified professional dog groomer. So we keep ourselves busy in the dog world.  In 2005 I founded the Southeast Texas Working Dog Club where we not only train for working dog sports but we train for real life training on our K9 friends. Everything from building searches to vehicle protection our dogs can be trained to do it all.
